Principle and characteristics
This product is suitable for the distribution of 10kV insulated wire, using a unique piercing structure, and through the installation of the wire in the line slot to form electrical connection; A series external discharge gap with a distance of about 75m is formed between the mounting bracket and the arc starting head at the upper end of the arrester, and an insulating cover is provided to cover all the exposed fittings on the upper end of the insulator except the arc starting and discharging end. Under normal conditions, the resistor and discharge gap of the high resistance arrester do not operate; Only when the lightning overvoltage is exceeded, the discharge gap can be broken down, forming a short circuit channel, and the continuous power frequency arc will burn on the arc starter arm, releasing the overvoltage energy to protect the wire from burns. After the voltage is released, the resistor of the arrester recovers the high resistance and the gap discharge stops.
