Montenegro Cable protector

Due to electromagnetic induction, the metal shielding layer (or metal sheath) of long-line high-voltage single-core power cable generates induced voltage

Product Description

Summarize

Due to electromagnetic induction, the metal shielding layer (or metal sheath) of long-line high-voltage single-core power cable generates induced voltage, leading to insulation aging, and reducing the insulation grade, resulting in reduced cable life; Once the induced voltage exceeds the sheath breakdown voltage value, the outer sheath is broken down, forming a single-core cable multi-point grounding fault. Therefore, the power industry standard DL/T401 "Guidelines for the selection of High-voltage Power cables" stipulates that a cable sheath protector must be used to limit the induced voltage and fault overvoltage on the metal shield (or metal sheath) of the power cable.
